I was just on amazon.com and saw this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DMJWK2/ref=s9_simz_gw_s0_p15_t1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=03PHVMJKS5VSA2RXDM7S&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846

Is this a full cast recording of the show (which I know is on DVD) or is it just Adam Lambert's songs?

It's just his one song. The whole show is available on dvd though.

The DVD is...amazing. But not necessarily in a good way. I love to put it on at parties and watch people's jaws drop to the floor. It's fun to watch Adam Lambert, though.

The main thing I think of while viewing it is, "wow, Moses really needs to join a gym."

The Best DVD of the WORST production ever!

I recommend it to anyone who wants to see what kind of money is spent on BAD productions.

And the stories I hear from the people who worked backstage on it are even worse!

TheatreDiva! TELL US MORE!

This is one of my absolute favorite guilty pleasures...

... and some of the music really is quite good, in a Eurotrash kind of way...

"Is Anybody Listening?" and "The Horns of Jerico" as well as "Rah" and Lauren Kennedy's fierce "Will You Do That For Me?" are actually quite good.

Besides Kennedy and Earley it's a huge mess... but WHAT a fabulous, camptastic mess!

I saw it early in previews. I sat to the extreme audience right, so I could see the teleprompter that Val Kilmer was using. It would come on when he was singing, and then go off when he wasn't on stage, so it was meant just for him.
When I got bored, I would look over and read the lyrics along with Val.

From the costume designer quitting and the actors being told, "Just pick what ever you want to wear."

Which is why you have some 'Jews' in the show with bleached dreads, fitted costumes, and bare mid-drifts as they travel through the desert.

To Val showing up only when he felt like it (He didn't show up the first performance they were going to film)

To the awful CG twinkles and fire they added to the DVD.

There is just TOO MUCH to say!

I agree that the show as a whole was a mess, but I do enjoy quite a few of the songs. "Is Anybody Listening?" and "The Horns of Jericho" are definitely the stand outs. I feel like it could be salvaged someday with some revisions and an entirely new cast and creative team.
