isn't therese a revival?
"Why would Therese Raquin be a revival?"
It is a 19th C. play that clearly falls under the classic/historical repertoire definition in rule 2(h).
The pinto bean strikes back. There's a far more comprehensive thread about this. God when does middle school start again so whatshisname goes the fvck away?

Um, it's a new adaptation of a novel, not a revival of an old play. It's even credited as being written by Helen Edmundson, who wrote Coram Boy.
And ray, why do you have such a problem with me? I'd personally consider Phillypinto far worse than I could ever be, especially as he is a racist and a homophobe.
And Liza's Headband, who hurt you?
I'm pretty sure rays comment was towards me lol

Fantod, my comments were 100% directed toward pinto whatshisname. To say that (in Barbara Weston's words), the pinto thing would have more credibility if he had any credibility, rest assure you are, in fact, correct that he is far worse. That's because the pinto is the worst.
Really the Britta of Broadway World. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
My understanding is that Helen is adapting the play, including of course the book as a secondary source material but I will be more than extremely surprised if this is treated as a new play. It is a typical adaptation.
Oh, I didn't know that. We'll see come October, but you're probably right as I was basing my information off of the original press release.
And I'm sure Hammyton will take home all the awards, Philly.
