What an amazing show of Cabaret tonight,the cast did a wonderful job tonight with their Cabaret Cares Show. Doreen Montalvo was a fabulous host and the cast put on one of th best Cabaret Cares Shows ever. What a treat to have Corbin Bleu in the audience and then to have him come read a letter on the stage about what the organization does.

A great evening all the way around. Thanks to everyone who came out to see the show

Hah. I thought this was a knock at how Corbin Bleu is NOT included in the phrase 'the amazing cast of In The Heights.'

^ But he's really wonderful in the role. (and I am not necessarily a fan of his, a teeny bopper OR a huge fan of ITH).

My question was more along the lines of: why DIDN'T he perform with them? He's a great dancer.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I could have sworn that I replied in this thread already, but I guess not... loved this show last night! Really enjoyed getting the chance to listen to so many amazing talents sing. Jon Rua and Gabi Ruiz performing together for the first time in public as Usnavi and Vanessa, doing "Champagne?" Adorable. Blanca Camacho's "Broadway Baby" was hilarious. Courtney Reed, I'm now obsessed with getting to see her go on as Nina some night, after last night. Tony Chiroldes with the almost making me cry, Michael Balderrama's doing things that are bad for his voice, Stephanie Klemons' "Big Time," Luis Salgado duet with Afra Hines, and everyone else who donated their time on their day off from Heights in order to perform for this fundraiser.

I also really enjoyed that while Doreen was the host, I liked the way that everyone introduced everyone else; you could really tell how much they enjoy their cast, and just being with each other. Glad to help them raise money for such a great cause.

Hi

I have to say thank you for coming out last night. This was the must giving cast I have ever worked with. And I can say that as the Producer Corbin Bleu was so cute and kind to make an appearance. They are some of the most talented people on Broadway today.
