Is it me, or do they look like they really aren't putting much effort into them any more?

They used to have so much detail.

And all of the hair (except for Gypsy and WC) look matted and nasty.

That EQUUS bear is too much. The best one by far.

Why was I hoping that was about some other type of Bears?

The Equus bear is wonderful!

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

So many could be ANYTHING. The Bernadette Bear could be Edith Bunker, the Edith Herbert could be Janet Vandergraff...or any other "bride", the Wendela could be Maria from WSS...
And since Shrek is already a stuffed animal, what are they going to do with him? Just get a Shrek toy at the Disney store?

If this is year 2 why does it say Broadway Bears IX?
Gabriella could also be April from Company and Betty Hines could be Anastasia!

Oops. Thanks for the correction. I mean XII (12) I changed it. The site did not even change the logo to XII! They are still using the old one which is XI. Lord.. I might be developing dyslexia already!!?

Yeah~Some of the bears are not as good as the other years. Where's the PattiLupone GYPSY Bear?

It is a good cause and all, but the only ones with any imagination are the Equus bear and the Egg Beater.

Whoops, I just saw a Mama Rose Bear and thought it was Patti.

Why don't they have a Patti Bear? Why Bernadette?Patti DID win the Tony and her shows still running.

Love the Equus bear and the Egg Beater!

And I have to say that I do love the detail the Clay/Spamalot bear. But I know those "FAAAAAAAAAANNS" with pay through the nose for it.

I also love the crochet work on Growltiger. That must have taken some work!

And I don't see anything for Corine to blow her money on this year...

I still don't get why this thread subject says "Year 2".

And Diva, that is a perfect example of how boring most of these are this year. I mean if you THINK it is Patti and are willing to PAY for Patti, well, then it IS Patti. Enjoy your Patti Bear.

Edith from My One and Only??
While, I am a fan of the show and like the bear, I still find it sort of random.
Then again... most of them are sort of random.

Last year someone paid $17,000.00 for the Spamalot bear in his armour. They will probably want this one to go with it so its going to go for a lot as long as Clay signs it.

No, it won't go for that much this year. Last year Clay was straight and the buyer still had a shot at him, or so she thought.

"Last year someone paid $17,000.00 for the Spamalot bear in his armour."

Didn't they promise to donate it for a charity? What ever happened to that? Did they just keep it or, did it go for a good cause?

Yeah, I think I will have to miss it this year. I can't afford to buy anymore and I have to tell you, I love my Bad Idea Bears.
Good cause. Too expensive for moi but I am glad I did it once.
Can't afford to do it this year and I can't control myself there.
