I would buy that stew bear in a heartbeat.

Some of them do look like they were assembled by a blindfolded person, but they're not that bad. I get a kick out of the young frankestein one, the mimi one is pretty gross, and equus is by far the best.

It repulsive that you post pictures of those, Corine.

NO, more like, "I know you complain about not having a job, but spend over a grand on us and then tell everyone you did it for your friend who has AIDS! Yea!"

I love my bears and have no regrets about buying them.

And that's what's so repulsive about you.

How did your 'friend with AIDS' like them?

Did it help him at all?

""Last year someone paid $17,000.00 for the Spamalot bear in his armour."

Didn't they promise to donate it for a charity? What ever happened to that? Did they just keep it or, did it go for a good cause? "

Diva, the Clay fan who won it donated it to Clay's foundation, where it was auctioned off again at their annual gala last month.

How much did it raise?

I remember the auction raised over $500,000 in total, but I'm not sure how much individual items raised.

Not CW, but here's your answer.

Gilliane - "Diva, the Clay fan who won it donated it to Clay's foundation, where it was auctioned off again at their annual gala last month."

I believe the BAF gala was on Oct. 18th, just after Clay came out. The Spamalot bear went for $31,000. I also read that the person who donated it, won it back the second time. His foundation did substantualy better this year than last year.

SueleenGay -"Last year Clay was straight and the buyer still had a shot at him, or so she thought."

Kinda shoots that theory all to hell, don't it?

When are this year's bears to be auctioned???

It went for $31,000 the second time and she will want this year's Sir Robin Bear to complete the set.

The auction is Feb 15th 2009.

Yeah it does.
