That being said I am very Partial to Heidi Blickenstaff. While no she doesnt have the top voice on Broadway I think she is still in the upper tier. And even though shes kind of a b**** SRS has a killer voice.
<------ Me and my friends with patti Lupone at my friends afterparty for her concert with audra mcdonald during the summer of 2007.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

Philly03, as a big Jekyll and Hyde fan (as well as Linda Eder) I'm ashamed to know why she didn't return to Broadway. I'm really terrible with knowing the behind the scenes information, but I've always wondered that myself.
beltingbaritone, as AWESOME as Linda is in both personality (if you haven't gotten to a concert of her's (or with Michael Feinstein) you need to go :)! But you usually don't hear too much J&H/Wildhorn stuff..!) and singing abilities, most poeple thought she was a horrendous actress. Truth be told, she wasn't that great -- the death scene was often..interesting, which is why so much of Jekyll on Broadway was her walking on ... walking off. She kind of only had to act out the death, acting disgusted with Hyde, and during "No One Knows Who I Am"!
Plenty of people think her voice is enough to carry her over that though anyway - the Drama Desk & OCC (HAHA) & TheatreWorld Award people, Rosie O'Donnell...Regis Philbin hahaha. Many people were pushing her for a Tony nod., but of course she didn't get one. And of course, when you're sort of exclusive (similar to Sarah Brightman) to one composer your career choices in a field get limited!
Philly, I forgot about Judy Kuhn! She has such a nice voice, and such an interesting tone. (Although, I'm kind of biased toward her, because my old voice teacher kept comparing my voice to hers... which is DEFINITELY unrealistically complimentary toward my singing)
In my pants, she has burst like the music of angels, the light of the sun! --Marius Pantsmercy
