Zanachick - I LOVE the the Lyric Stage Company. Urinetown was fantastic, but, as good as it was, it paled in comparison to their current production of 1776. Go see it now!

Now, see, I loved the set and its perfect use of the Lyric setup. However, I was sitting in the center section, so that may be the problem.

About the dialogue... I view 1776 as a play with music. If you go in expecting a pure musical, you will be disappointed. The production's pacing was excellent, so I didn't think it was too bad.

And I think Chris Chew is quickly becoming my favorite Boston actor.

I desperately wanted to see Movin Out again in Providence, one last time (the tour closes in early 2007), but, unfortunately I had a week of performances at my college. I was very disappointed.
