Linda Lavin!
It would be a surprise considering she wasn't nominated.

I think Antonio would be a big surprise; most people assume Harvey will win (I'm one of them).

#3How about Michael Cavanagh for featured actor in a musical?

How about Michael Cavanagh for featured actor in a musical? There was a big war over why he got nominated. I think he deserved the nom. but not the tony. That would be a huge suprise.

How about Elizabeth Parkinson beating out Marissa and Bernadette for Best Actress? Now, THAT would be something!

I think Dance of the Vampires would be a huge surprise if it won anything!

Mary Stuart Masterson as Luisa beats Jane Krakowski, already a multi-winner for Claudia, in Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

I agree with Antonio winning being the biggest surprise, even though I WANT him to win. I think Harvey's going to win for the soul purpose alone that he can pull off wearing a dress on stage. Don't get me wrong, I love him... but I'm obsessed with "Nine," so... yes. Antonio all the way!

I completely agree! & while Harvey does have alot of work to prep for Edna, I don't feel he "carries' the show the same way Antonio does. LOOOOOVE his tango with Chita!

I would LOVE for Antonio to win over Harvey! Harvey is funny but he isn't great and Antonio did soooo much better than I thought he would ever pull off!

Yes, Mary Stuart Masterson would be a surprise because to be honest everybody bets on Jane of course.

How about Brian Stokes Mitchell winning over Harvey and Antonio?

Antonio doing better than people thought he would still doesn't rise up to the level of what Harvey's done this year. It's his Tony still I believe.

As much as I would like "Amour" to win best musical, the Tony awards almost never do suprises, they tend to play it popular and safe. They are to promote commerce rather than art.

At least that's my opinion, I may be wrong.
