After the disappointment of Matilda not winning best musical st this years Tonys.
We are taking our revenge and bombarding Broadway with no less than 4 Shakespeare plays (Romeo and Juliet, Twelve Night, Richard III and a possible Macbeth) this fall and also if you don't feel punished enough, we are going to hit you with 2 Harold Pinter plays, (No Mans Land and Betrayed) and then if that is not enough we will complete the torture by hitting you with The Wimslow Boy by Terence Rattigan.
Enjoy x

How about a compromise? A play about the theory put forth by an American writer that Queen Elizabeth I was a man in drag.
If this is the penance to be paid for KINKY BOOTS defeating MATILDA, this Anglophile over here will be more than happy to acquiesce.
Well at least they're torturing us with GOOD British plays...

If the Brits could only learn to dance. Several years ago, I saw Company in London. It was a wonderful production, except they cut the Tick Tock dance.
Okay?

If this be punishment, bring out the whips and chains -- I want more of it.
We love British plays. It's British musicals we look down on.

I hope Bravo starts a reality show called Everybody HATES Matilda.
No Pinter play, CPD?
Perhaps a piece of Mahler's?
