How did fans of Broadway musicals that were going from stage to screen survive without Rent-like updates everyday? Or are we just unbelievably spoiled like everyone else of our genoration?
Perhaps if the internet existed when the Carousel movie was being made, fans could have spared the filmmakers from ruining the film within the first five minutes.
And the message boards would be inundated with "Shirley Jones and Gordon MacRae again? Aren't there any other qualified people to star in all these broadway shows that are turning into movies?"
1. Yes, we're all unbelievably spoiled like everyone else of our generation.
2. Do you honestly think fans weighing in on a message board affects the creative direction of a motion picture? ...Wow.
