Yes, but it's a work visit.
I'm back to Chi by Tues.
Fortunately I've got a good friend at The Color Purple and I'll have house seats tomorrow. :)

That was my favorite show from my trip last week...LaChanze turns in an absolutely brilliant performance. Elisabeth Withers-Mendes and Felicia Fields are amazing as well..enjoy it!

I'm so sorry Elphaba. I hope you get another opportunity to see the show.
I really enjoyed myself.
TCP was a pretty and moving show.
The cast is dripping with talent and they gave every ounce of their energy to the audience on Sunday. It's fast paced, never boring and I would see it again.
Felicia P. Fields, Kingsley Leggs, Elisabeth Withers-Mendes, Brandon Victor Dixon, Darlesia Cearcy, Krishn Marcano and especially LaCanze all gave stellar performances.
I'm listening to the recording on my iTunes right now.

Posted: 3/29/06 at 10:38pmSeeing The Color Purple on Saturday night. Very excited. I've seen LaChanze now in Baby at Papermill, Dessa Rose and can't wait to see her this weekend. There was a meet and greet at Lincoln Center that I went to last year. She was very gracious and friendly, an extra special performer.
