I saw Chicago's Color Purple yesterday, what a thrill! I was so moved by the show, I was in tears by the end.

It is an outstanding cast. LaToya London (Nettie) was a pleasant surprise.

I felt like they tried to squeeze too much of the story into Act 2, but they did stay true to the book.

I'm going to try to remember Celie's words, "I'm thankful for everyday that I'm given, both the easy and hard ones I'm livin'.

Great show.
