The Color Purple - cancellation of 11/8/05 Preview

A friend of mine who has tix for the Tues 11/8 preview of "The Color Purple" has been advised by Telecharge that the performance has been cancelled. Does anyone know the reason for the cancellation and whether any other previews of the show have been cancelled?

They are filming Oprah on Monday in Chicago and wont be back in time for Tuesdays show.

Of course.

Them missing a preview has NOTHING to do with the airing of the show.

The only thing that is changing is the 11/8 Color Purple performance so they can keep the pre-scheduled airing of the Oprah episode.

I was just asking because I had heard other airing dates. I am aware that them missing a show has nothing to do with the airing date.

Oh, Can't wait for Oprah. I thought maybe they were canceling it to trim some of the show, but guess not ha.
