Since it seems that the Saturday and Sunday shows this weekend are sold out, I wanted to confirm that means no RUSH tickets are available, only SRO?

Is there a chance that there will be tickets available for rush tomorrow? I know it's Jennifer Hudson's last show, so I don't want to go and leave empty handed.

My friend wants to try tomorrow - I know it will probably be super busy because it's Jennifer's last day, but has anyone rushed on a Sunday at any point? Since the box office opens later, I was just curious whether people show up later as well or no.

does anyone know if they still have $59 tickets? if so, i am planning on going to a saturday performance and arrive at 6 to get tickets for the 8 o'clock show.

I rushed the Friday of Heather Headley's first week. My friend and I arrived at 7:10 a.m. and were 10th and 11th in line. I got two $35 rush tickets (row C of mezz, far left and right) and she got one $35 ticket and one $59 "partial view" ticket (rows C and D of the orchestra, far left). The box office sold the boxes first, but I think the mezz definitely gives you a better view (and another friend and I got to move at intermission to the center). I think the first people in line got there around 6:15 a.m. By the time we left the box office around 10:15, there were around 100 people in line. Having done standing room before, though, I can definitely say that that's the best "seat" in the house.

anyone else rush recently? I know it's memorial day weekend, but I'm trying to go Saturday for the matinee. I keep hearing rave reviews, and I want to see Cynthia and the entire cast perform

Not sure about rush, but I went to TKTS like 90 minutes before a Friday evening performance about 2 weeks ago and got third row orchestra for $70.

Thanks for that tip slumdogdelaware! Were those the cheapest tickets available or did you spring for them because of the location? 3rd row orchestra sounds amazing for this show

I think there were cheaper options available, but I didn't ask, haha, I snatched 'em up. They were orchestra right, about 4 or so seats in, so the view was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better seat honestly, unless it was center orchestra.

Very helpful, thanks! I've never done TKTS before, good to know tickets are available there too.

This was my second time, as I usually stay away from Times Square in general, no matter what ticket deals may lie therein. But I got out of work and thought I'd stop by really quick and got lucky. I actually requested She Loves Me first, but the best they had was $90 front mezz, so I passed on that and boy was I glad I did because TCP was incredible (not that I don't absolutely adore SLM, but I'd already seen it). Good luck to you on getting some tix!

I'm debating about going tomorrow- but haven't decided yet as I've seen the show before, but not since Heather stepped in. Will report back if I do.

Tkts can be a great option, but they do not give you a choice in which seat to select. They only offer the most expensive options for purchase- For example, if they can sell $90 orchestra seats then they will not offer any of the cheaper mezzanine unless all of the orchestra are gone. I've tried to debate this, but to no avail.
Also, I rushed The Color Purple last Thursday so can share my experience. I go there at 9:20am and was about the 11th person in line. I'm not sure how many tix each person got (max 2), but they sold out of rush before they got to the people in front of me. THey did offer $59 seats, which I purchased. I was seated in Row G, but as far to the side as you could be. For the most part these were awesome for me, as being able to see facial expressions up close was more valuable than having a direct view. There is not any scenery change and very little movement to take in, so a direct view is not as valuable as it would be in, say, Shuffle Along.
If you are a TDF member they are now offering seats for $47 for Tues-TH shows. If you aren't, it is worth looking into. I thought it was just more artists, but I qualified by working for a public hospital.
Either way, this show is a must-see and I predict Erivo for a Tony win, so it may be more difficult to get tickets after June 12 if that happens. Good luck and enjoy!

I rushed last Saturday, May 21. I got there about 7 in the morning. There were at the time about 10 people in front of me. By the time the box office opened that 10 grew to about 13, with "friends" joining the line. (My feeling about rush lines is everyone should be there at the same time especially if the "friend" is also purchasing two tickets. On that day, most were going for the evening performance, as well as myself. I was getting a little worried about cutoff especially with the added people. By 10 the line was really long and I am sure many of those did not get rush tickets. The boxes are what they were offering. When it was my turn I was offered row D (5th row) in orchestra, last seat. I was a little hesitant because it said partial view. But because of the way the show was staged I believe I saw 95% of everything. If you want to make sure you get in, go before 7:00.

Thanks for all the information! Unfortunately I don't live in the city, so Tues-Thurs doesn't work for me. I would qualify too (I looked into it) but I was confused because I didn't think TCP or SLM were a part of the membership deal. Oh and thanks for the info on SLM too, I'm planning on seeing that tomorrow night, and there are plenty of tickets left so I was going to do TKTS, but now knowing what you just said to me, I think I'll go directly to the theater tomorrow and buy a ticket. Hopefully it'll be okay and there are still cheap tickets left (I only need one and hopefully I can move closer if there are a lot of empty seats. I hope there aren't too many, but there seem to be a lot of tickets remaining).
Thanks for the heads up about recent rush too. I want to see the matinee, so hopefully getting there at 7 will be okay and I agree with what you said, and that's how rush is supposed to go. You can't save someone's spot in line if they also want 2 tickets, they should be there when you get there or they should only need 2 tickets total. I'll be sure to ask when I get in line Saturday.

Funny, I just bought a ticket for SLM for tonight! It was a bit of an impulse buy, I admit. I used a BroadwayBox code for $50 mid-mezz.

Good call with that discount code! I might use that instead of going to the theater when I arrive, but hold off on the off-chance I win lottery tickets! I hope Laura Benati is back tonight for you (and tomorrow for me), I want to see the four leads together.

Does anyone know if standing room has been an option on the weekends since Hudson departed?

She was back tonight, and amazing as ever! I love her so much. I had missed Krakowski the last time I went, so I was happy to see the full cast tonight. But I think I still need to go again...it's just such a good show!

I did rush today- got there at 8:30 and there were about 20 or more people in front of me but I stayed anyway. By the time I got up there they were out of rush but offered $59.00 rush tickets. I got two in the orchestra- G 17 and H 19. They are marked partial view- anybody know how seats in this area are?
