The Comet is NOT dead

A London production is in the works! And the tour will start in San Francisco!

Are there any British actors you can see in the roles? Samantha Barks as Natasha is like a given... https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/A-New-Life-Will-Broadways-GREAT-COMET-Soar-Over-Londons-West-End-20170921

Great news!

Jenna Russell as Marya D? Rebecca Trehearn as Sonya? I don't know that many British MT performers, to be honest, even after spending my whole Junior year there.

Michael Ball as Pierre. I'd love to see Ashley Park play Natasha someday, but she seems to be keeping herself very busy.

I'm happy to hear that there's still hope for this show.

The Comet is NOT dead

I live in the Bay Area so this makes me very happy. The Curran or Orpheum are the usual choices for stuff like this, but I wonder if there's another space that could be modified to preserve some of Comet's staging?

I talked up this show a lot to my friends, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to drag them along!

You're all living in a fantasy world with people like the Kagans.

The Comet is NOT dead

The Kagans should be prosecuted and jailed for the cold-blooded murder of two great shows: On the Town and The Great Comet

Have no idea if he sings at all, let alone has the voice for Pierre, but if by any chance he does, John Bradley West..

I'd love for the show to live on, but I'm not holding my breath

The Comet is NOT dead

Honestly, I could see runs in SF, Chicago, and LA, but not a full-blown tour. I also agree that this show would do really well in Europe!

I say just have Josh Groban come back as Pierre.
