The Dance and the Railroad opened tonight at the Signature Theatre.
"In a tale told in David Henry Hwang’s graceful and gorgeous early play, a father literally explodes when his son tells him he has become an actor. 'Little bits of his skin are found hanging from trees days later,' one character tells the other. 'You don’t know how you endanger your relatives by becoming an actor.'"

Was not wild about this show. Not very much substance. But the lead was terrific.
My review of THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD
I'm sorry but this might be the most boring thing I have ever, ever seen in my entire life. They say it is 70 minutes. I say it was an eternity. I don't know what they were talking about, why they were talking about it, or why I was supposed to care. If you are having trouble sleeping, please report to Signature immediately and buy a seat!
