I saw it off-Broadway my freshman year with Marlo Thomas, Richard Masur, and John Ventimiglia as the rotating guest cast. It was really powerful. I watched bits and pieces of the filmed version, and I think it just didn't translate very well. It was still emotional and everything, but it just lacked something that the stage version had.
