Hey Hedy! Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar!!
As the show been changed so much for the tour that it is now a love/hate letter to Hitler?
"And by the way, are the Munchkins, in their blue-and-white striped uniforms, supposed to be inmates of a concentration camp?"
No, the Shiz uniforms were actually based off Japanese school girls' clothes
Oy! :P
Well, on the upside the reviews aren't as scathing as before...

wow, this critic is disturbingly bad and just wants to find ways to bring the show down bu making things up. This isn't what the show deserves

Oh my god. That is the stupidest thing I've ever read. Is she completely insane/drunk/bitter about not having a Broadway career of her own/anything else? I'm embarrassed to think that she is the most vocal voice right now in regard to Chicago theatre. We Chicagoans do not support her!
NO offence to Kendra, but how could she say she was better than Kristen? I thought Kendra need alot of work on her comic timing, loosing alot of the jokes like "Something is wrong, I didnt get my way" and such.
only correct thing ive seen in the review so far is that the show has a great deal of potential for spin off story lines

and, I edited this because orangeskittles brought it up and I forgot to comment on it -->
"Composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz has written three songs that will probably have continued life: "I'm Not That Girl," "No Good Deed" and "For Good." The rest of the score blends into an undistinguishable amplified mass. His "Popular" would work well at American Girl Place."
What? Um...So apparently "Defying Gravity" has been cut from the show. I'm not a crazy Wicked supporter, but come on...Thats the only song people who aren't Wicked die-hards remember when they leave the theater.
What was Hedy smoking?

Was she asleep during Defying Gravity? Because I think that song has had more of an effect on people than the songs she mentioned, and definitely shouldn't be qualified as as "undistinguishable".

I'm sorry, I thought she was reviewing the Chicago production, not the OBC. Did she even see Kristin Chenoweth in Wicked? I doubt this, seeing as anyone who had seen the show more than once would not pull these ridiculous accusations out of their @$$. So why does she feel it's her place to pass judgement on another production of the show, and an actress she's never seen in the role that left almost a year ago?

See, what I find a bit strange about the Glinda line is that she says the character is supposed to set your teeth on edge, then says that Chenoweth was more annoying. So that would mean Chenoweth did a better job of playing the character, would it not?
