This might be a stupid question but I just want to make sure.

In Grey Gardens when they play the staticy record of Big Edie singing back in the day, is that Christine Ebersole?

Yes, Christine sang on both. I much preferred the Girl Who Has Everything, that was a wise choice to change. At least Toyland does get it's mention though in Mother Darling.

I like how they changed the opening to The Girl Who Has Everything, but I wish they had kept the closing to be the reprise of Two Pea In A Pod. For some reason, I just think that fits the ending better.

I actually disagree. I prefer the old beginning and the new ending. The new ending is so heartbreaking and the old one seems too corny for the ending. It sounds like the curtain should close on them flumping on the bed laughing, holding their bellies.


Although I LOVE the clever use of the reprise of the song with the "as a clam" bit.
