And if Warner is looking to develop their films into musicals I think AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT would make a much better musical.

Any time you have a Hollywood producer going on and on about how they're making a musical out of one of their hits from decades past, it's time to start chomping on a big ol' grain of salt.

That said, I think DAVE would make a wonderful musical.

Unless they use the OFC (That's Original Film Cast, FYI (That's For Your Information, JSYK (That's Just So You Know) I want nothing to do with anything GOONIES related. Unless Lea Michele is Andy, Chris Sieber is Troy and Cuddles is Mama Fratelli. Oh and Natascia Diaz as Sloth.

I don't think the Goonies is really cut-out for the stage. I mean, do we really need a Chunk solo song? And it's a little too action packed for a musical. There's too much like "chasing" and "adventure." I don't think it would translate too well.

Oh my god I have a bad feeling about Dave. That and The American President are my FAVORITE movies....I'm worried that the musical transformation would ruin them. Oh now I won't sleep.
