It's amazing it's done what it has. It will have a VERY healthy regional life, as it's a very easy show to cast and mount.

I wish we could get more new smaller houses on Broadway. Now with the Hayes gone to 2nd Stage, which hasn't really produced much quality theater... we're left with fewer and fewer play houses. I remember seeing Next Fall at the Hayes and loving the size of the space.

Could someone remind me if Second Stage said they planned to increase the no. of productions in their season once the Hayes had been renovated? Or was the Hayes strictly to be a transfer house for Second Stage off-broadway productions? I'm very interested to see how their usage of the Hayes plays out.

Would it be possible for Second Stage to also rent out the Helen Hayes to limited engagements in their 'off-season' like the Summer, since they have their Uptown Series in the summer?
