A request, if I may: All those who appreciate Jill and her work, please post here. Haters, please, get your OWN thread. Thank u
Let me start by saying that I have loved your music/lyrics, and overall, "A Tale of Two Cities", right from the get go! This has been one of those shows which has impacted my heart, soul, and mind, with so many beautiful memories, and life's lessons.
THANK YOU, JIll!

Posted: 12/31/09 at 12:45pmI think Jill is awesome! A Tale of Two Cities - loved the concept CD for a long time - loved, loved the broadway show - and love the PBS concert (not so sure about the James and Michael thing at the end).

Glad to see someone started a thread for Jill, she deserves one. Crazy that nobody started one sooner!
I have a lot of respect for Jill's Tale score, and consider her music brilliant. I've read so many weirdly negative comments here in the past, and I have to say that I do not agree with those, at all.
Like any genious or brilliant artist, though, her work might not get the commendation it deserves, until later on, and I hope not too late.
Jill, you are loved and I thank you also for bringing this beautiful show into so many lives :)
Oh, and Happy New Year!

Well, from the looks of it, she's still wrapping up Tale, so I doubt she has even the time to start something else!
But, I am glad you brought up the point, because I am sure we are not the only ones who want Jill to pen another project. and SOON!
Jill, I hope you are reading

Posted: 1/2/10 at 5:04pmI'm also looking forward to Jill's future projects. Watching the PBS broadcast of Tale makes me realize how much I miss it. It closed way too soon! And I'm also surprised that this is the first love thread for Jill! And I also can't wait for the CD!

Ok, now...I know that there are a number of Tale fans on this board, because I've seen your posts. So, how can you be a Tale fan without being a Jill Satoriello fan...?!
Every artist has their fans, and these fans giving them their appreciation is the sweet part of the whole thing. Let's keep this one going, shall we?

I love Jill's work on Tale! Very nice lady as well at all those performances of Tale!
Unfortunately, something tells me she won't be doing any other musicals (all by herself anyway!) in the near future anyway; took Tale, what? 23 years to reach Broadway! Glad it did though - still one of my favourite musicals of all time.

Ummm...I disagree. I think Jill has great potential for near future fresh material. Remember, sometimes there are reasons in life why something takes us longer than expected to get to.
But the fact that she came through with hers, it's a great testament to her perserverance and commitment to a project, as well as love for her work.
Of course she had trememdous help from Ron and Barbra, which should be duly noted, as I am sure she will get in the future from others, as well. But, fact is, she deserves some love, now...
