The Kentucky Cycle

Why does this show not get more attention? I discovered it going through the library my freshman year of college, and it is without a doubt one of the greatest American plays ever written. It's a play about the failure of the American Dream. Plays like Death of a Salesman and Buried Child also present fables about the concept, but The Kentucky Cycle gives you an epic 200 years in the making that proves the Rowen family was doomed to fail from the beginning. It's one of the widest scopes of a tragedy I've ever seen.
