Gap / West Side Story tv commercial with Barrett Foa

227 did "The Wiz"

Roseanne had a musical episode I hated at first- she had a fantasy world dream with big production numbers, her friend Vanda sang Ain't Misbehavin' and the trial sounded very Oklahoma.

The Odd Couple did A Christmas Carol.

There was an Annie connection on Growing Pains towards the end of the series- the youngest Seaver- a little girl- had some Annie connection.

A young Joey Lawrence sang "Give My Regards To Broadway" on The Tonight Show.

Scrubs had a parody of West Side Story in one of the earlier episodes, before the musical episode.

The episode of Sanford and Son called "Watt's Side Story" was basically a spoof on West Side Story and Fred even mentions it when he talks to Lamont in regards to him taking out Julio's sister.

Another episode of Sanford and Son has Lamont taking Fred to see Fiddler On The Roof.

The episode of The Critic called "Dukerella" has a brief spoof on A Streetcar Named Desire

There is a brief Sondheim reference in "Binky Gets Cancelled" from Garfield and Friends, season one. The boss tells his secretary, Miss Sondheim to send in the clown

Another brief Sondheim reference is in the episode "Killjoys" from Extreme Ghostbusters. Eduardo is confident and cocky about his catch of a killer clown that prompts him to say "Who Cares, send in those clowns, I'll nuke them all"

The Phantom of The Opera makes a brief cameo at the end of The Real Ghostbusters episode "A Fright At The Opera"

Family Guy's rendition of "Somewhere That's Green" from Little Shop of Horrors with the old guy singing about him and Chris

There are a lot of broadway/theatre mentions and references in Frasier. One that I remember well is in the episode "Merry Christmas Mrs. Markowitz" in which Niles is giving a toast and saying many different Jewish phrases prompting Frasier to turn and say to him, "Take It Down A Notch, Tevye."
