Hey Broadway heads! My good friend Sarah Haines is the violin/viola doubler on the US tour of Hamilton. I thought you might like to hear a conversation we had a couple of weeks back while she was in Cleveland. Among the topics we discussed were the touring lifestyle, musical styles relevant to a Broadway pit career, the importance of taking every opportunity possible, and of course, her favorite tunes from Hamilton. :) I think it was a great talk, particularly for anyone interested in a career in Broadway performance, or for someone who wants to know what life is like underneath the stage. Let me know what you think!

This was really interesting! Thanks for sharing. I just sent it to a friend who has dreams of playing in a touring or broadway pit one day.

Thanks so much for the kind message! The highest compliment I can receive is for someone to share this conversation with someone else who could really use it. I sub and have subbed on a few shows myself, and if you or your friend want to chat, I am always available via e-mail at thesoundmindpodcast@gmail.com :)
