I thought the show was good when I saw it in July 2005, but now having listened to the cast album a few times and hearing all these love posts, I'm starting to resent it. The music is gorgeous, yes, but the lyrics could use some cleaning up ("That's the land of courduroys"?). Piazza is something that will never be in the league of Sweeney Todd.

i usually try my hardest not to be mean or rude, but really Allentown, you are being sort of annoying, just trying to keep your own thread alive, and accusing a show and thread which has nothing to do with LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA.
if you dont like WEDDING SINGER, fine, that's okay, but you dont have to go on and say how annoying its fans are and how your thread is gonna destroy its love thread. obviously, your thread is not ever going to come close to WEDDING SINGER's love thread

sorry to be mean, but you are bugging me, and i wanted to defend WEDDING SINGER.
