That's a tough one on Ursala...What do you guys think about Carole Shelley?

And what about the other roles like Ariel, Eric, etc.?

Yes, FlyingHigh, I love the idea of Carole Shelley as Ursula! I remember suggesting her a few months back when we first got wind of the creative team and the latest workshop reading.

I think she would be incredible in the role and I would love for Ursula to have her delicious British dialect.

Ursula should be someone like:
Harvey Fierstein
Liza Minnelli!!!

I would love to see Liza come back to Broadway. All of the numbers they've written for Ursula are kind of torchy/jazzy/loungey. I think they need someone of "camp" value to pull off those numbers and her incredible dialogue.

Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together.
