Upon visiting International Thespian Conference last week and viewing the final showcase of winners, I found myself in complete tears by the end of one particular winning monolouge. Performed by Anthony Perales, it was from "The Church of 80% Sincerity" by David Roche. I've looked all over the internet, and can't seem to find a copy of this glorious speech in which the speaker thanks the beautiful audience for their attention. Does anyone here know of this final, closing monolouge? It was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed, and I would do anything to read it again.

Perhaps it was an original script and is not published. Try contacting the school.

PEACE.

Maybe you couldn't locate it because the correct spelling is: monologue. re: The Most Breathtaking Monolouge Ever....

Have you tried contacting the writer? He has contact info on his website.

I have several names, one is Julian2. I am also The Opps Girl. But cross me, and I become Bitch Dooku!

Wow. I went to his website (just google his name) and the author seems thoroughly fascinating... a man who is a motivational speaker after having lived his entire life with an extremely disfigured facial deformity.

I am going to try to buy some of his work online...

See, I found that website, but I can't find any work that is availible to buy....I see that particular show referenced, but I don't see a script availible. Which is odd, given that for the student to have performed the piece, he would have had to mail in a sheet asking for rights permission to do so.
