Ok...so not quite...but Sally felt it was an appropriate call:

It would be awesome if Sesame Street did a parody of that in their Dinner Theater sketch series.
Dunno if it could top Pear the Musical, though...

How about a Muppet Lestat?
Better still, a Muppet Spiderman. Much cheaper & probably a hell of a lot more entertaining.

Janice as Janet and Miss Mousie as Mrs. Tottendale? Link for Robert? Maybe Rowlf as Underling. That just leaves Kitty and Feldzieg
ETA: Spamela Hamderson as Kitty and Dr Teeth as Feldzeig.

Well, now I want a whole series of "Muppets Take Broadway."
Miss Piggy as Rose, Kermit in "She Loves Me," Janis and Animal in "Hair," Fozzie and Gonzo in . . . what? "Waiting for Godot"?

if there was a Muppet version of Godot, it'd have to be called "Waiting for Gonzo," so maybe Rizzo and Camilla the chicken.
but I love Kermit in She Loves Me.

well, and Fozzie already has the bowler hat.
I'm really obsessing over Kermit singing "She Loves Me" now, though.
