The New Frontier: A New Musical#1

Young Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde....what other sci-fi themed musicals are there?

How about:

The New Frontier: A New Musical based from the Star Trek incarnations with singing and dancing gorgeous Humans, Vulcans,Klingons, Bajorans, Borgs, Drones, Ferengis, Androids, Betazoids, Changelings, Q continuums...

What did I forget?

Set inside a Starship Enterprise or an M class planet far, far away.

Any producers interested?

Sir, you have my attention.

I'll put in an investment on the condition that you give Kirk a patter number of some sort.

"Y'know, I think Bertolt Brecht was rolling in his grave."
-Nellie McKay on the 2006 Broadway production of The Threepenny Opera, in which she played Polly Peachum

No, I think Data needs the patter song.

Hey, congrats! You already have pickering producers.

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-

"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

We could pull a "Millie" and re-write some G&S lyrics.

I am the very model of a modern starfleet an-a-droid!/I look so very human but my bowels nay they will not void!/I fly the starship Enterprise next to a bloke who is quite blind!/They say my posotronics create a mesmerising complex mind!/I'm very well accquainted too with matters mathamatical . . .

Well, there is Klingon opera . . .

(Assume this is in Klingon)
"Barcley at Officer Troi's. A Three Part Klingon Opera, Part 1"

Do you love them?

Well sorta kinda.

Do you need them?

Well sorta kinda.

They make me smile a lot, those people in the holodeck, make me feel I'm sort of accepted.

And we can get some diva to play Whoopi's part from the show and they do a big number at the club..

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

Is it bad that I thought this was going to be about a JFK musical?

Too much AP US History.

You should make a song entitled "9 People's Favorite Borg."

Rant, Wickud, Rant, Wickud, Rant! We're not gonna pay Rant! 'Cause everythink is Wickud!

"Leave Walt Disney Theatricals new sparkling production of The Little Mermaid on Broadway alone!!!"

lakezurich will be played by Paul Groves in the BWW musical
