Who knows? Plenty of artists who were popular in their own time are pretty much forgotten today. Whoever it is will have appeal beyond a specific demographic group.

You have to be really old, already dead, or Liza Minnelli, right? ummm so then next one should be....crap. There's just nobody I can think of who should be considered a legend who isn't already considered as such.
