This sounds dreadful. The story is bland as can be, written by a homophobe. The casting is also doing absolutely nothing for me. It also holds a disgustingly romanticized portrayal of Alzheimers that I don't appreciate. And if it's written by one of the writers of This Is Us, then I'm sure it will be deeply emotionally manipulative. No thanks.
