Sadly, I missed the Pippin concert, but I heard it was so amazing. Sucks to live in Chicago.

I had the pleasure of meeting him at Bare's Bryant Park performance back in August. I got to talk with him a little and take a picture. He was amazingly sweet! He even took a picture of me and Jenna (Leigh Green) when I couldn't find anyone to take the picture for me.

Ahhh lucky lucky you!!! Man, I would have killed to see him. He's at that stage in his career now where he's just starting to get well-known. I always perfer meeting people before they get too famous, you know?

I've met him once or twice or... 6,000 times at this point. He's a very sweet, humble and funny young man.

I thought about him playing the role of Tank in Zanna as well, but I'm not sure if Rob Sapp is continuing with the show onto Broadway or not?

Ooh, Robb Sapp? I adore him. When I saw Wicked in early November, he was on for Boq, and he was just a complete and total cutie pie.

Anyway, on topic...I love me some Michael. Thank God Trisky and MoG got me hooked on him. And I was lucky enough to meet him and Jenna in September at the BC/EFA flea market. Complete and total sweetheart.

Okay first of all can I just say that this has to be in my opinion the best thread around right now on BWW. I was not online that much this weekend, but I thought I would check in before going to bed, and to my delight this thread has been started in honor of Michael's talent, I am just in so excited because it is so well deserved!!

So I am jumping on the end of the praising bandwagon just to add that, he is so utterly talented often times when I am trying to explain to people how I feel about his voice and his passion when he is onstage I get a loss for words.

I was lucky enough to see him once in Bare, and twice at the Joe's Pub Concerts and I have been addicted ever since!! We accidentaly ran into him after the last Joe's concert and I can not even say how kind and personable he was, I felt like I was interrupting since he was int he middle of talking to some people, but I sort of motioned to him to ask for a picture, and was so nice he acutally came over and I was ready just to get my picture and go, but he was asking questions and being just really too sweet!!

I am so happy to see that he has been so busy with projects latley eventhough Bare is a no go, because he certainly deserves to be seen by the masses!!!

We're good like that. I try to turn Michael (and the rest of the Bare cast) onto anyone who'll listen. Basically I'm the pimp and they're all my ho's when it comes to Michael and his talent. I'll force them into it, even if they don't want to listen damn it!

Shush, Adampascalgirl. I live in my own little world of denial, where they will announce tommorow morning that Bare is going to debut on Broadway in the spring.

But seriously...he's probably one of the most talented young up-and-coming stars right now. It's too bad he's not as well known as he should be. He's the perfect mix of acting talents and amazing voice. *sigh* I have such high hopes for him.

Hey, I read an interview with Damon (sorry if I spelled that wrong, I've been up for 23 hours) saying he was working on a ATA Bare cast recording. Anyone heard any news on that? I need some offical Michael CDs. My sampler's good and all...but not enough. And the *coughbootlegscough* don't do him justice.

I doubt there will be an ATA Bare cast recording, as much as it pains me to recognize, but the good news is Damon is producing Michael's first official album in the spring. I can't wait to get my hands on that puppy!

Michael's actually putting out a solo CD that Damon is producing! They start recording it in Spring, so I don't know when it will be released... but in the last Playbill article (I think), Michael mentioned there being some pop/rock songs on it along with showtunes.

I'm coming into this thread late. I have nothing to add, other than I love Michael! Wow, what an amazing performer. I saw him twice in Bare, and he was phenomenal. He was also so wonderful and warm when I met him after the show. I can't wait to see what he's doing next.

Who is this Michael Arden everyone speaks of so highly?

He's an amazingly amazing performer and one of the few voices that literally gives me chills. I could listen to him all day. Yet another reason why I'm grateful for BARE.

And he's also a really nice guy which is quite the bonus for someone so talented. :)

Aparently there is a spider man musical in the works....not sure how great of an idea this is....but if its made, there is absolutly nobody I would rather have to play peter parker than Michael. Can you imagine him in that tight spandex suite...i know 1 thing that would be huge...
