I haven't seen any threads about this yet, so I was wondering who else is pumped for "Mormon Musical", created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez? Cheyenne Jackson is set to star as a Mormon missionary, beginning rehearsals in December ahead of a 2009 debut.

It sounds very interesting. I am interested to see Lopez's work on this.

Is this show aiming for Broadway, or Off-Broadway?

Somehow I previously missed that Lopez was involved and yet was still excited just because of Parker, Stone, Jackson, and Mormons. Tie that in with some Avenue Q-style genius and you've got yourself a winner.

I am SO excited for this! I am a long time Matt and Trey fan. They must have a thing for mormons - anyone else see their film 'Orgazmo'? If you're into their other work you HAVE to check it out.
