Do you know that as fact outdamnwench? Or speculation? The intention was to bring them all to NYC. There are other cast members transferring that are Canadian. At this point we really don't know if any of the American cast members were let go as well. Artistic decisions?
I know for a fact that 2 of the ensemble members were let go here in Toronto before the show closed....I haven't heard of any others...it would be a shame to lose others as everyone was awesome....
I saw it 6 times in Toronto and have 2 trips to NY to see the show again. I can't get enough. I love musical theatre and this is my fav show by far that I have ever seen. The whole cast is spectacular...but watch out world for Nick Adams as Felicia....amazing, fabulous...there aren't enough words to do him justice. Tonight will be amazing. I saw it both opening and closing night in Toronto...awesome memories..
Adding my love for this show and the most talented cast on B'way at this time. They all rocked my world at their 1st preview Monday night. I hope they all receive the recognition they deserve come Tony time!

In London Priscilla is also done at the Palace Theatre, the front of the theatre is adorned by a giant high heeled shoe, have they done the same for the Palace Theater, New York.
POL, they did not put the giant high heeled shoe outside the theatre. I loved how they did it London, especially at night when the shoe is lit up. I've heard different "excuses" why they didn't do it here.

Saw this last weekend, and let me say that my cheeks were hurting from smiling and laughing so much. I loved this show...loved it loved ot loved it. Unlike the previous juke box shows I've seen, I was actually moved and a tear or two srprised me. There was not one mis-step, not one ruined joke...I found it a smash from top to bottom. This was the most unabashedly fun event I've experienced in a very long time. HONESTLY, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN.
