What, no thread for her yet?!?
Loved her performance last night. It looked like she took too big of a sip of water, but she covered it nicely. I could watch her all day long. Damn, I love her to pieces!

Sutton's stage presents last night was very "old hollywood". Her
performance was by far the highlight of the night.

Posted: 6/12/06 at 11:00pmI was just watching the Tony's again today and watching Sutton do Drowsy Chaperone thinking to myself...You know what she beats Idina Menzel ANY Day In My Book! And She sounded good at her Tony Performance.

Posted: 6/13/06 at 7:48amSutton is an amazing talent, and a nice person to boot! I fell in love with her the moment she stepped on stage in The Drowsy Chaperone when I saw it Friday night. You just can't take your eyes (Or ears) off of her! Just as thrilled as I was by her on stage, she was a thrill to meet at the stage door on Saturday afternoon. She was so modest and sweet despite her success. I can't wait to see her in Drowsy (or anything for that matter) again!

Posted: 6/13/06 at 8:03amSutton is amazing. There was an appreciation thread for her a while ago. Sutton's stage presence is just incredible. Like FeelingElectric said, you just can't take your eyes off her. I loved getting to see her perform in Little Women and hope to see her in Drowsy. Yay for Sutton!

Posted: 6/13/06 at 2:52pmSutton is a rare gem on broadway that doesn't come around that often. We are all lucky to be able to have her and her talent. I remember seeing her in Los Angeles when Drowsy Chaperone was here and she is the nicest person and loves to talk to her fans, always kind!

Posted: 6/13/06 at 3:37pmOMG! I don't even know where to begin. Even though I don't personally know Sutton, she is sooo dear to my heart. Everything about her I feel is flawless. She has been blessed with a fabulous talent. In my opinion, she is the perfect package any director could ever ask for. Her voice is amazing, her body is well in shape, and she gets into her character every single day without getting board at all. She is my inspiration everyday. Another great quality of Sutton, is that she is the biggest sweet heart in the world! She has always been kind to every single person and is always seen with a smile on her voice. Whenever there is a benifit or concert dealing with something, Sutton is usually seen participating in it one way or another. My brother Mark has Muscular Dystrophy, and one year Sutton performed on the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telathon. This just made me sooo happy, and today I respect this woman every single way you possibly can. She is and always will be my favorite leading actress.

Posted: 6/13/06 at 3:48pmI think she is great and seems very down to earth. I saw her in Thoroughly Modern Millie twice, Little Woman, which was not not a good show but she was great, very funny. Soon, I will see her in Drowsy Chaperone. She was adorable on the Tonys.

I saw her in LA's Drowsy Chaperone, and actually did the stage-door thing with Popular, and she was the nicest person to meet.
Very tall!
And adorable.
And amazingly talented.
Two snaps and a twist for Sutton.

I MUST jumped on board with this appreciation thread. She can do it all -- sing, dance and act. And she is electrifying in all three. It's funny because I have so many cast recordings on my computer, but the main ones I listen to are: Little Women, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Drowsy Chaperone. I can't stop listening! Ah I envy all you folks on the East Coast that can make it to NYC without going completely broke. I just did it in March -- a week before the Drowsy previews began. So sad, but hopefully I'll get there again some time if I can save some more money (I hope my boss is reading this -- wink wink, give me a raise). As much as I love to watch Sutton perform on TV or various web sites that shall not be named her, she sparkles live. If you haven't seen her yet, I definitely recommend it.
On another subject -- does anyone know a good way to send a note to her? Her web site seems like it hasn't been updated in forever!
WORDS TO LIVE BY:
As we stumble along on life's funny journey. As we stumble along into the blue. We look here and we look there, seeking answers anywhere. Never sure of where to turn or what to do.
Still we bumble our way through life's crazy labyrinth. Barely knowing left from right nor right from wrong. And the best that we can do is hope a blue bird, will sing his song as we stumble along.
