Because this is an unmoderated board (it really SHOULD be moderated) anyone can post anything that pops into their head.
But just calling any thread "official" is suspect. Even worse, this thread was started by someone who just joined the group. And the OP gives no credentials: Have they seen EVERY show that opened this season? What went into their selections. But there is nothing at all "official" about this. (Why do people even title a thread "official"? Do they think that will guarantee other will read it? What gives them authority to call it an "official" post?)
The nominees will be announced on April 30 and the awards presented on Sunday June 9. THEN there will be an official listing. Until then it is just speculation.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

I'm sorry but that official information is false. Nominations will be announced on April 30th. 1 day before May.

Ok, noted and corrected. Thanks.
Does anyone know the season cut-off date?
