I got the Sunday In The Park With George London revival CD. I noticed on there that there is a bonus track call The One On The Left. I never heard of that song before and I was wondering if anyone knew the history of this song. Was it something that was cut from the show and they recorded it for this recording?

It's just a longer version of the same song that is in show.

It was in the original workshop production but heavily cut by the time the show opened on Broadway. The full text is also in the published script.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
