Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
This makes me cry. Someone's doing something right when there are kids this young out there who not only love and appreciate theatre (especially theatre as esoteric and complex as Sunday in the Park), but can speak so insightfully and honestly about it.
"Wait... Iain is the son of the actor who played Boy George???
MY MIND IS OFFICIALLY BLOWN!"
Ditto!!!
Iain reviewed SIDE SHOW in DC - funny and POWERFUL! (you will see why I use powerful)

Why is this poor child being taken to so many heavy shows? Are they trying to induce an existential crisis by the time he's 10?
He's adorable.
^Hey I was watching MOULIN ROUGE and CHICAGO when I was 8-9 years old and I loved them. (though I really don't like MOULIN ROUGE as I used to)
Heh, well CHICAGO is one thing. MOBY-DICK: THE OPERA is another thing altogether. :P (Although, according to his review, his uncle plays Captain Ahab, so I guess that one makes a bit more sense.)
That was more astute than anything Clive Barnes ever wrote!
^If Iain grows up to be a theatre critic, I think he'll be the best new critic of his generation.
The NY Times should hire him now.
...and Iain's may be the only version of "Finishing the Hat" you ever need to see.

The pad toss for the win. Does Iain have a Bosom Buddies with sonofrobbiej available?
He is my favorite. He could be a performer AND a critic.
Link below to an absolutely adorable local TV news interview with Iain. <3
(Slightly annoyed that he's ID'd as a "Young Movie Critic," though. There isn't a single mention of movies.)
So. Cute.
