Posted: 2/20/06 at 12:46pmThey have the same tickets. It's a smaller place (like one storefront). I used to work near there and at its peak there were maybe 20 people in line though I don't know how many TKTS employees there are at each one to speed the flow of the line.

Posted: 2/20/06 at 1:35pmThe TKTS booth at the Seaport is much less crowded than the one in Times Square. Just keep in mind that if you want to get matinee tickets at the Seaport booth, you have to go the day before (night shows are day-of just like at the Times Square booth). I strongly prefer going to the Seaport booth - not only do you not have to deal with the huge crowd, but you can get tickets for that evening and the next day's matinee at the same time.

Posted: 2/20/06 at 2:01pmThat might be the case, Oasis, but if it keeps me from having to get in all that mess at the Times Square booth, I'm willing to pay that price.

Posted: 2/20/06 at 2:05pmI agree that the lack of crowds is great! As a matter of fact I am surprised that it hasn't caught on yet (not that I am complaining). I was just saying that I don't think the ticket offering is always the same (particularly for matinees).
