The Palace mezzanine

So, I will be attending Annie with a large group of people. We have the tickets and we are the first row of the mezzanine ( it might be first and second ). I know we can not specify how the seats are for the show, but how are they generally? Is there a bar in front of youand is it distracting?

I've never had a problem with mezzanine seats before. I'm not 100% sure about that specific theater, but most have just a low bar that doesn't obstruct your view, and is barely noticeable.

I have sat in the first row of the mezzanine at the Palace Theater. There is a bar and a row of lights just below the bar. The view is fine. The only problem would be if you were very short, the bar might distract your view.
