Has anyone gotten rush tickets for Play that Goes Wrong recently? What time did you get there? How was the line/the seats? Considering rushing tomorrow and would love any advice

I rushed the show this past Sunday! I got to the box office around 12:20-12:30-ish (it opened at noon since it was a Sunday), since I ran over there immediately after rushing another show. I went into the box office and had no troubles getting a ticket! I actually loved my seat; it was in the middle of the second row of the orchestra section. It was an amazing show! Enjoy!

Both I and my sister rushed at separate times in the past month, with similar timing (about a half hour after box office open, running from another show) and both got partial views. I was still able to enjoy the show and saw all the actors, but the set-related comedy on one side of the stage was blocked. With a little imagination, I still understood the jokes, though.

If you're offered partial-view for rush, I would suggest asking if they have any seats in the balcony instead. It's the same price, but you get a full view of the stage, which I feel is really important for this production.

I agree about passing on partial view if you can, I rushed a week ago and was off to the side in orchestra (stage right, 5 rows back) and missed everything that happened to the that side of the stage. I actually moved at intermission thanks to a kind usher to the balcony and it was much better.
It is a very fun show and a really sweet cast to meet, enjoy!

Update: I got to the theater roughly an hour after the box office opened, and I got two full view tickets (row F, seats 10 and 12). My view was very good, I could see everything that was going on. Thank you all for all the help!

I'm planning on rushing this on a Sunday matinee, but I can't there until around 12:30 or 1. Think I'll get a ticket?

Yeah, if not much has changed since a few weeks ago when I went (also on a Sunday), you should be totally fine! Enjoy the show!

Hey guys! Sorry I keep reviving this thread so often, just trying to make sure my plans will work. Tomorrow's the day I leave for NYC, how has rush been lately? I will not be able to get down to the theater until around 12:30, any chance they'll have rush? Thanks!

I put your chances somewhere between 1% and 99%.

I think you should be fine! Definitely ask if they have any full-view left, because that's pretty important for this show.
Enjoy! This show is a lot of fun!

Saw it july 18. Got there about noon. Rush was 39 for partial view. I opted to pay 59 to get an aisle seat (which I like) mid mezzanine.
