Chloe, that may be true...and we've all seen it happening, but it doesn't replace the exposition. If they are not going to insert the filmed song, then they need another way to introduce Max before we have to figure out Max AND Leo's story all at the same time. It matters little, since we have no control over this subject, but I want to make the point that, trends aside, you still have to tell a consistent and well planned story or you confuse the heck out of the audience.
