Has anybody seen this yet? I'm seeing it next week, but I'd love to hear thoughts if you have them.

If you like Horton Foote, it's a good production. Do you have any specific questions?

These short plays are not Foote's best work, but it's a well-done production with a great cast. Any chance to see Hallie Foote onstage in one of her father's plays is a good thing.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Well I finally saw it and I thought it was really lovely. It's certainly not The Orphan's Home Cycle, but very few things are, and for a minor work I was still surprisingly moved. Hallie Foote is extraordinary as usual (when will someone let her play Amanda Wingfield?) and I can't think of a director today who can direct a specific author as well as Michael Wilson directs Horton Foote.
