Hummm, Jon, no self respecting Star Trek fan would admit to NOT knowing what that was.
Kobayashi Maru scenario--the "No win" scenario.

i have not been "wronged " by rosie. I also could care less that she is a woman or gay. I dont like anyone who treats people badly for the sake of thier own ego. I also do not like those who mistake fame foe intelligence.
Those of you who continue to use the argument that she is being lambasted simply because she is gay and a woman are obviously trying to promote some personal agenda. My agenda in regards to her is simply that she has been rude and incompetent.
As to whether she reads this or not, I couldn't care less.

I generally don't confuse fame for intelligence. Repeated spelling errors? That, I think, reflects on thier intelligence; but that's a different story foe a different time.
Now, I have a major hankering for wasabi and mayo.

you win. the e and the r are next to each other and i am a poor typer. i guess that makes my point meaningless and yours unbeatable. Why is it that when people on message boards are unable to come up with a coherent argument they always start attacking peoples typing. pathetic!
Now it's your turn to say that since i don't use capital letters you are a better person. ::rolls eyes::

I just thought you were doing a tribute to ee cummings or kd lang with the lack of caps and I don't think I'm better than them.
Actually, I had typed so many column inches into these threads that I had nothing new to say about Rosie or my feelings about people's negative reactions to her. You're the one who brought up intelligence, which is always a dangerous thing to do if you don't proofread meticulously. It's called "schadenfreude," (no "u"), look it up.

the bullet will always seek the biggest target. that's why the truly smart famous producers stay away from the camera and the spotlight when introducing a new show or movie. They "fade" into the picture and don't get in the middle of the shot. Rosie acted like someone on bway owed her. I respect her balls and effort and would never not go see a show because of the vibes of rosie. and i deplore that she is judged so harshly. Yet in my heart i know that this strong lady brought on her own demise (should that be the case) more than others just singling her out. i have done it to myself and so have most people been their own worst enemies. hers was in public with more eyes looking. I just love the main song in taboo "stranger in this world" it is special. and Euan is good singing it. Lets just hope for her sake that the stars line up for the show. the thing that may save rosie in the end is that she is true to how she feels and speaks from her emotions and heart. this can be good and bad but i for one respect it.

Posted: 11/3/03 at 11:02pmI recall a major Times article that put Margo Lion front and center pre-Hairspray opening. The one where she talked about HATING Wilbur's, "No, just most," reply to Little Inez. There are a lot of producers who are out there. Look how easily targetted Fran and Barry are around here. (And once by Rosie in the press when they didn't give Susan Wood a raise in Grease!)
