I had no idea that After Eight had written a play. Good for him!

I saw this yesterday and liked it a lot. It may not be saying anything new but as a fan of post-apocalyptic works, this was right up my alley.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

I quite enjoyed it... I thought Tim Daley was great.

I didn't care for it at all. Dull, tedious, confusing.

I think the first act drags A LOT... Not much is happening there, motives are terribly explained, and what's the point of British accent? I wanted to leave during the intermission but finally decided to stay. The second act is 100 times better in terms of structure and dramatic tension, though nothing near perfection. I think it would work much better as a 90-minute play with no intermission. Would not recommend it to friends but indeed something worth (half) your time if you survives the first act.
