I'm pretty excited to be honest. Some of the songs are duds, but for the most part I really enjoyed them. I'm also really excited to see the show on Broadway.

How is "I'm Not A Loser"? I'm looking forward to that one...
Definitely my favorite song in the show, although I can't remember if it was because the song itself was good or just because of the great choreography etc. I mean, not much beats a tap dancing squid, imo.

"I'm Not A Loser" is really the 11 o'clock number and got the best response of the night.

Is this really the artwork? It's terrible. I wasn't a fan of the show, but it had a couple of good songs. Chop to the Top was probably my favorite and I enjoyed BFF. I'm Not a Loser was definitely a crowd-pleaser. Super Sea Star Savior was the biggest WTF moment, both in song and the subplot.

This is slightly off-topic, but does anyone know if there will be rush tickets sold for Spongebob at some point? Not sure if that is something that is public information before a show opens. TIA :)

So, with the new cast and updated music (Bikini Bottom Day is extended), do you think there will be a Broadway cast album, a la Great Comet and Matilda?

I highly doubt it. Great Comet added Josh Groban, and for Matilda 95% of the cast was new. I highly doubt they'll re-record. Just seems unnecessary.

Yikes! How sophomoric this all looks! At least the gangly-looking Gavin Lee looks like he's having fun over-selling it all! Though even Tommy Tune showed more restraint.
I'll pass!
