As long as I've lived in St. Louis, I'm embarrased to think of how few times I've gone to the Muny. Then I remember -- St. Louis... in the summer... outdoors... I can feel beads of perspiration just thinking about it!
I would love to see Les Mis there, though.

It's nice to see that Les Miz in the mix, but it's really just a typical Muny season other than that. Same old chestnuts, same old theatre as sporting event.

No, they didn't. They hosted the national tour.
Auditions are in March.

According to the Post-Dispatch, it's "one of only eight professional theaters in the country that were invited to mount productions of the show."

Saw Peter Pan tonight. It was a very cute show! Everyone was wonderful, especially Francis Jue who played Peter Pan.

Is Diana Kaarina really Eponine?

Eric Kunze is cast as Joseph, and I'd drive to St. Louis to see him alone no matter what the conditions. I saw him on tour with Jesus Crhsit Superstar in 2003. He was fabulous as Jesus! I'm going to try to make it up there!
Not sure if Diana is going to be playing Eponine. As soon as I hear anything, I will let you know though.
broadwaytourist- I really hope you can make it here to St. Louis for Joseph! The cast looks really great. I have heard wonderful things about Eric Kunze!
