Erm all i was saying is that not everyone likes Xanadu (shocker) inc me.
And to slag off a critic or say it has something to do with the sense of humor or that we dont get it (completely stupid remark since most west end shows are from broadway)because he does not like it is ridiculous.

I said it wasn't just about Xandu. I found his remarks offensive that is why I slag off the guy. If we don't share the same taste then perhaps he isn't the critic for me. The shows he brought up all had some Brit involved except for Xandu. It is too bad he didn't catch more shows.
I stated that Xandu has a limited audience. I don't see that fell under any of your categories listed.
I didn't find enough detail in this review to base any of his comments on. I look to reviews for content, style and performances. Not his snide remarks that seemed rather sexist too me.

Posted: 11/23/07 at 11:49amAs an American who spends a lot of time in London, I think the London Crtics - a shocking unreliable bunch - simply reflect the current anti-American zeitgeist over there. Brits deny it but every American I know there feels it - every day.
