I caught this tonight and really, really liked it. It's not playing much longer and I would urge anyone with even a slight interest to go check it out. (If you liked stuff like Sons of the Prophet and The Whale this could be up your alley.)
The plot focus on three friends who attempted to start a Facebook-type social networking site in college, but they have been fairly unsuccessful in the past three years after graduation of really getting the company off the ground. Two of them have become tutors to help pay the rent and one of them is correcting college admission essays.
Act one is pretty funny and then it digs deeper in act two. I liked the script a lot, but the performances were AWESOME. It's a cast of 5 and they are all excellent, with special mentions to Keith Nobbs and Matt Dellapina. (Dellapina is a dead ringer for Penn Badgley, but somehow even hotter.)
The direction is fluid and the play zips along at nice pace; the two hour run time felt like 30 minutes. I wish this had been a tv show and we could have spent 3 or 4 seasons with these characters (and actors).
